Traffic and Highways (North) Team would like your views regarding proposed traffic measures in Menston.
The proposals comprise of a village-wide 20 mph zone with supporting traffic calming features on entrances to the zone and on main through-routes.
In addition, two Traffic Regulation Movement Orders (one-way streets) are being proposed on Derry Hill and Leathley Road, along with a priority give-way feature on Main Street.
The overall scheme can be seen on plan THN/105383/CON-1A.
Details of the one-way streets, priority give-way feature and changes to traffic calming on Leathley Avenue and Leathley Road can also be found on the attached plans:
1. Derry Hill – One-way street (from Main Street to Derry Lane). Plan THN/105383/CON/DH-1A
2. Leathley Road – One-way street (from Leathley Lane to Station Road). Plan THN/105383/CON/LTC-1A

The consultation period lasts for three weeks (Monday, 12 to Friday, 30 June 2023)
