Various School Streets Traffic Regulation Orders 2022

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the following Orders on 13December 2022 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit the driving of vehicles within the stated time periods on the following lengths of road: -

 

  1. City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council High Crags Primary Leadership Academy (Pratt Lane, Shipley) School Street Traffic Regulation Order 2022

Pratt Lane, Shipley from its junction with Prospect Street to its western termination point and including the southern spur serving nos. 5-19. Kitson Street, in its entirety between 8:30am – 9:15am and 3:00pm – 3:30 pm from 1st September to 31st July;

 

  1. City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Shipley C of E Primary School (Otley Road, Shipley) School Street Traffic Regulation Order 2022

Unnamed back street to the south of Birklands Road, in its entirety, Castle Road from its junction with Birklands Road to its southern termination point between 8:35am – 9:15am and 2:45pm – 3:40 pm from 1st September to 31st July; 

 

  1. City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Westminster C of E Primary Academy (Westminster Road, Bradford) School Street Traffic Regulation Order 2022

Westminster Road, Bradford from its junction with Westminster Terrace to its northern termination point. Westminster Place in its entirety. 2 no. unnamed back streets, between their junctions with Westminster Road and their terminations. 1no. unnamed back street, between its junction with Westminster Terrace and its termination, Northallerton Road, from a point 12m west of its junction with Sunnyside Lane to its western termination point between 8:10am – 8:30am and 2:45pm – 3:15pm from 1st September to 31st July; and

 

  1. City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Girlington Primary School (Kensington Street, Bradford) School Streets Traffic Regulation Order 2022

Kensington Street from its junction with Thorn Street to its junction with Birch Street between 8:40am-9:20am and 2:40pm-3:35pm.

 

The Orders come into force on 19  December 2022 and a copy of the Orders together with maps show the affected roads which may be examined below or obtained from Martin Adams, Planning, Transportation & Highways by telephone on 01274 435662 or by email martin.adams@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number PTH/HS/104491.

 

If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Orders were made on 13th December 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
