The Modified Definitive Map and Statement for the Metropolitan County of West Yorkshire

 

Public Footpath No. 88 (Queensbury) High Street and Cambridge Place, Queensbury (Modification) Order 2022

 

On 11 August 2022, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council confirmed the above Order.  The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them the following footpath:

 

1.     Public Footpath No. 88 (Queensbury) as shown by a broken black line with short intervals on the Order Map numbered T/66660/T48/Que88, commencing on High Street, Queensbury (marked as point A) to grid reference SE1021 3022 and extends in a north westerly then northerly direction for 9.4 metres with a width of 0.95 metres and a flagged surface to grid reference SE 1021 3023 (marked as point B). 

 

2.     Continuing from point B in a generally north westerly direction for 9.7 metres with a width of 1.3 metres to grid reference SE 1020 3026 (marked as point C). The first 4.6 metres of this is surfaced with broken flags and the remaining 5.1 metres is surfaced with setts.

 

3.     Continuing from point C in a generally westerly direction for 24.2 metres with a width of 2.5 metres with a setts surface to grid reference SE 1019 3026 (marked as point D) as shown on the Order map. 

 

A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map has been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at Customer Services, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY and Keighley Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Keighley during normal office hours. The Order comes into force on 29 August 2022, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Confirmation of the Order,  he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act  within six weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 11 of Schedule 15 to that Act.
