Purpose of the consultation

(Waiting Loading and Parking) (Consolidation)

(Amendment No. 2) Order 2024

 

103886 Great Horton Road / Horton Grange Road / Horton Park Avenue Junctions

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District has made the above Order on the 1 February 2024 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce the following: -

                     I.        No waiting at any time on lengths of All Saints Road, Dirkhill Road, Dirkhill Street, Horton Park Avenue, Turner Place and new link road between All Saints Road and Horton Park Avenue

                    II.        No waiting at any time No Loading 7.30am-9.30am and 4.00pm-6.30pm on lengths of All Saints Road, Cecil Avenue, Great Horton Road, Horton Grange Road and Horton Park Avenue

                  III.        No waiting and No loading 7.30am-9.30am and 4pm-6.30pm Mon to Fri on a lengths of Horton Park Avenue

                  IV.        Permit Parking at all times on a length of Great Horton Road

                   V.        Limited waiting 30 mins No Return within 1 hour, 8.30am-4pm Except Permit Holders on lengths of Dirkhill Street, Noble Street and Turner Place. Permit Holders only any other time

                  VI.        Limited Waiting 30 mins No Return within 1 hour, except Permit Holders on a length of Great Horton Road 

                VII.        Limited waiting 9.00am–5.00pm 30 mins No Return within 1 hour Permit Holder only at any other time on lengths of All Saints Road

               VIII.        Limited waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am to 4pm 1 hour no return within 2 hours on lengths of All Saints Road

                  IX.        Limited waiting Mon-Sat 8.00am-6.00pm 1 hour No Return within 2 hours on a length of Great Horton Road 

 

The Order comes into force on the 5 February 2024. A copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or can be found below or obtained from Mark Gillingham, Senior Traffic Engineer – Place, by email mark.gillingham@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number PTH/HS/103886/MAG.

 

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made on 1 February 2024 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
