Purpose of the consultation

 

 

City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council

(Speed Limit Order) (No. 6) Order 2023

 

Shetcliffe Lane, Bierley

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce a 20 miles per hour Speed Limit on the following lengths of road:

 

  1. Shetcliffe Lane, Spen Close, Shetcliffe Road, Fieldhurst Court, Meadowcroft Rise, Burberry Close, Roads within the area bordered by Shetcliffe Lane, Burberry Close, Ferrand Avenue and St John’s Primary School and roads within the area bordered by Shetcliffe Lane, Spen View Lane and Fieldhurst Court.

 

A copy of the draft Order together with a map showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY or examined below or obtained from Arshad Mahmood, Senior Engineer - Traffic & Road Safety South by telephone on 01274 437684 or by email ArshadMahmood@bradford.gov.uk. Quoting reference number HS/TRSS/105469/AM.

 

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by email to legalobjections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on Friday, 16 June 2023 quoting reference: CORP/PCD/DS/413916.
