It includes reference to the equality impacts of the proposals, to ensure that Executive can give due regard to the public sector equality duty. The consultation will cover both new savings and investments proposals.

Consultation process
This report specifically deals with the responses from the budget consultation.
It is expected at the time of completion of this forward plan that the consultation will include a questionnaire (paper and online), and communications with key partners in the district. There are currently no new proposals that require services to undertake any of their own detailed consultations.
