The Guide has been prepared to help achieve a step change in the quality of new housing development in the District to deliver the vision of “green, safe, inclusive and distinctive neighbourhoods that create healthy communities for all.”
The Executive approved public consultation on the draft version of the Guide in June 2019. The report will detail changes made to the Guide in response to the public consultation, and it will seek approval to adopt the Guide as a Supplementary Planning Document as part of the Local Plan.
