The current housing and homelessness strategy, A Place to Call Home, 2014-2019, was in need of revision. As the strategy was a joint housing and homelessness strategy, and with homelessness becoming a major national priority, and with the context changing significantly, a separate homelessness and rough sleeping strategy is being produced.
