SEND Transformation

This report will outline the revised proposals for SEND Transformation of the specialist teaching and support services for children and young people aged 0-25 years.

There is increasing demand on SEND services – the growing population of children and young people has also increased proportionally the population of those with SEND; as a result the number of referrals is growing but so is the complexity of special needs.  There is significant pressure on the High Needs Block which funds the specialist teaching and support services and the specialist places for children and young people with SEND.  We need to transform the way in which specialist provision and support for SEND are delivered in Bradford.
