Central government has reduced local council budgets and as a result BMDC has decided to impose a single refuse collection per household every two weeks.

The policy does not consider that an address may be occupied by many residents and that a single bin is not enough to meet the demand even after recycling.

We would like the right to arrange private refuse collections and not pay the council tax element that covers refuse.
