We are residents of Keepmoat’s Heron’s Reach development on Allerton Lane and it is extremely dangerous to cross the Allerton Lane / Beck Bridge Lane junction by foot / in the car as there no speed calming measures or pedestrian crossing in place. When we come out from the site to cross the road, we cannot see the oncoming vehicles from the right due to the sharp bend. Because of this number of accidents have happened since we bought the house a year ago. We have raised this issue with the developer and we were told some speed calming measures would be built but it has been months since and no action has been taken yet. Today we had another horrible accident that required an air ambulance to be called in. Could you please consider this as an urgent issue and put traffic light, speed camera or road humps in place to reduce the speed of the vehicles on Allerton lane to make it safe for Pedestrians and Vehicles crossing the road.
