(Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation)(Amendment No.1) Order 2025

Back Killinghall Road and Silverhill Road, Bradford

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 11 February 2025 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which is to introduce the following: - 

1. ‘Prohibition of driving (Road closure)’- Back Killinghall Road North - from its junction with Moor Park Close to its junction with Tewit Hall Road.
2. ‘Prohibition of driving (Road closure)’- Silverhill Road - from a point 70 metres south of its junction with Fagley Road for a distance of 3 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order comes into force on 21 February 2025. A copy of the Order together with maps showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY or examined below or obtained from Marie Pickles, Engineer - Traffic ? Road Safety (South) by telephone on 01274 437678 or by email  Marie.Pickles@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number HS/TRSS/105686.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. from 11 February 2025) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
