Wibsey Library survey

Purpose of the consultation

What is this survey about?

Local residents living in the Wibsey, Royds, Buttershaw and nearby areas are invited to take part in a survey about their local library.

The survey will help inform the development of Wibsey library once it reopens in June following a period of refurbishment which will see the floor, lighting and heating replaced and the interior redecorated.

Local people are asked to have their say on opening hours, what activities and events they would like to see, and to give their comments on how the library could better meet their needs.

How can I have my say?

The survey is available online at online1.snapsurveys.com/tg5pm5.

You can also get a paper copy from Wyke Library and other local services across Wibsey and the wider area.

Library staff will also be visiting local groups and services over the coming weeks to distribute the survey in person.

Anyone who cannot get to the library and wishes to complete a paper copy of the survey can also ring Wibsey Library on 01274 435446 and staff will arrange for one to be sent or suggest where copies may be available.

People who take part are in with a chance to win a £25 shopping voucher.

When does the survey end?

The closing date is Friday, 3 June 2022.
