Speed Limit (No. 1) Order 2021

 

104841 Ashbourne Road, Queens Road and Ingrow Lane Area, Keighley

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 23rd September 2021 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce a 20 mile per hour speed limit zone within the Ashbourne Road, Queens Road and Ingrow Lane area, Keighley on the following roads:

 

Queens Road (part), Ashbourne Road, Ingrow Lane, Malsis Crescent, Back Manville Road, Manville Road, Upper Hird Street, Grafton Road, Broomhill Way, Broomhill Walk, Broomhill Mount, Broomhill Grove, Broomhill Avenue, Broomhill Street, Lawnswood Road, Broomhill Drive, Whitley Road, Exley Mount, Exley Road, Exley Crescent, Exley Drive, Exley Grove, Exley Avenue, Exley Way, Exley Street, Jubilee Drive, Cranleigh Mount, Ash Mount, Cromer Road, Cromer Street, Back Cromer Avenue, Back Cromer Grove, Foster Road, Back Foster Road, Caister Street, Back Caister Street, Caister Way, Oakfield Road, Hemsby Street, Eaton Street, Back Eaton Street, Aylesbury Street, Back Aylesbury Street, Maize Street, Corn Street, Bran Street, Rye Street, Barley Street, Wheat Street, Back Wheat Street, Stanley Road, Bracken Road, Malt Street, Back Malt Street, Opal Street, Emerald Street, Pearl Street, Ruby Street, Diamond Street, Elmwood Drive, Elmwood Road and Elmwood Terrace.

 

The Order comes into force on 11 October 2021 and a copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined below or obtained from Chris Hird by telephone on 01535 618172 or by email chris.hird@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number P/HS/THN/104841/CON-1B.

 

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made on 23 September 2021 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
