Public Spaces Protection Orders - dog control and dog fouling

Purpose of the consultation

Have your say on the renewal of the Public Spaces Protection Orders - dog control and dog fouling.

What is this consultation about?

We are asking residents and local businesses for their views in a public consultation on the Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs) across Bradford.

The current PSPOs took the place of the Council's dog control orders by operation of law in October 2017. They expire in October 2020 and need to be reviewed before they can be extended.

The consultation aims to gather information about which issues are of most concern to residents and businesses which will help with adding new conditions to the PSPOs and the areas they cover.

We want the views of as many local people as possible to help form the future of the Dog Control PSPOs to keep Bradford a safe place to live, work and visit.

When does this consultation start and end?

The consultation started on Monday, 24 August 2020 and ends on Monday, 14 September 2020.

How to send us your views

What will happen next?

Feedback from the consultation will be analysed and used to inform the decision about how to progress the PSPO and make sure it is fit for purpose for the years to come.
