Purpose of the consultation

City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council

(Waiting Loading and Parking)(Consolidation) (Amendment No.3) Order 2025

Carr Lane/Main Road, East Morton

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes made the above Order on 25 February 2025 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which is to introduce the following:

 

      i.         ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restrictions on lengths of Street Lane, Carr Lane and Main Road, East Morton

 

The Order comes into force on 28 February 2025.

 

A copy of the Order together with documents that give more detailed particulars may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or examined below or obtained from Engineer, Chris Hird - Transportation & Highways by email chris.hird@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number HS/TRSS/105750.

 

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. from 25 February 2025) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
