Speed Limit (No.7) Order 2021

 Great Horton and Shearbridge Road Area, Bradford

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 14 December 2021 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce a 20 mile per hour speed limit zone within the Great Horton and Shearbridge Road area, Bradford on the following roads:

Great Horton Road (part), Shearbridge Road, Woodhead Road, Summerville Road, St Margaret’s Road, Cottam Terrace, Flaxton Place, Burdale Place, Kirkburn Place, Staveley Road, Cottam Avenue, Arncliffe Terrace, Rugby Place, Roslyn Place, Clive Place, Clive Terrace, St Margaret’s Place, St Margaret’s Terrace, Swinton Place, Summerseat Place, Shearbridge Place, Shirley Road, Rothersay Terrace and Oulton Terrace.

The Order comes into force on 20 December 2021 and a copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined below or obtained from Arshad Mahmood, Senior Engineer, Traffic & Road Safety (South) by telephone on 01274 437684 quoting reference number HS/TRSS/104747/AM.   

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made on 14 December 2021 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
