Purpose of the consultation

City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (Waiting Loading and Parking)(Consolidation) (Amendment No.9) Order 2020

 

Various Locations in the Bradford South Area

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 19th November 2020 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to introduce the following restrictions:

 

      i.        ‘no waiting at any time’ on a length of Birks Fold, lengths of Haycliffe Lane, Deanstones Lane, Highgate Road, Ford Hill, Hill End Lane, Long Lane, Naseby Rise, Scarlett Heights, Park Lane, Buttershaw Lane, Beresford Road, Reevy Road, Wibsey Park Avenue, Huddersfield Road, New Works Road, Cleckheaton Road, Brighouse Road, Dealburn Road, Station Road, Town Gate, Worthing Head Road and Church Street

    ii.        ‘Disabled Persons Parking Place’ on a length of Cumberland Road and lengths of Haycliffe Lane;

   iii.        Revocation of existing ‘parking bay’ for coaches between 7am-5pm Monday-Friday 1st September to 31st July on a length of Haycliffe Lane;

   iv.        ‘no waiting’ between 8:30-:9•:'15am and 2:45-3*:45pm Monday to Friday 1st September to 31st July on lengths of Greyfriar Walk, Windermere Road and Hill End Grove;

    v.        ‘no stopping’ on ‘School Keep Clear’ markings between 8:30am-4pm Monday- Friday, 1st September to 31st July on a length of Deanstones Lane and on lengths of Ivy House Road;

   vi.        Revocation of ‘no stopping’ on 'School Keep Clear’ markings between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday 1st September to 31st July on a length of Home Farm Close;

  vii.        ‘no stopping’ on ‘School Keep Clear’ markings between 8am-5pm Monday- Friday 1st September to 31st July on lengths of Home Farm Close;

 viii.        ‘no loading’  at any time’ on lengths of Brighouse Road, and Sand Beds;

   ix.        ‘no waiting’ between 8:30-9am and 2:45-3:30pm Monday to Friday, 1st September to 31 July on lengths of Kesteven Close and Kesteven Road;

    x.        ‘no stopping’ on ‘School Keep Clear’ markings between 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, 1st September to 31st July on a length of Kesteven Close;

   xi.        ‘limited waiting’ of 15 minutes (return prohibited within 1 hour) between 6:30am-4pm Monday to Friday on a length of Mayo Avenue;

  xii.        ‘limited waiting’ of 30 minutes (return prohibited within 30 minutes) between 7.30am and 6pm on a length of Buttershaw Lane;

 xiii.        Revocation of the existing ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions on  lengths of Ivy House Road

xiv.        ‘no stopping’ on ‘School Keep Clear’ markings between 8:00am-4pm, Monday to Friday, 1st September to 31st July on a length of Northfield Road and Adam Street;

  xv.        Revocation of a length of 7.4 metres of the existing ‘permit parking bay’ on a length of Reevy Road.

 

The Order comes into force on 30th November 2020 and a copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined below or obtained from Christine Hopkinson, Senior Engineer, by telephone on 01274 431961 or by email to Christine.Hopkinson@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number: HS/TRSS/103778/CH.

 

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made on 19th November 2020, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
