Tell us about your local open spaces.
We are carrying out a survey to ask residents, business and other interested parties about the public open spaces they use.
You can complete the survey by following the link: Bradford Open Space Survey
The survey will be open for 8 weeks until 11 October 2019.
Good quality open spaces are important for a number of reasons including people’s health and wellbeing, recreation and enjoyment, wildlife promotion and growing food.
We would like to know if you think there is enough of the right sort and quality of open spaces near to where you live.
We would also like to know how often you visit open spaces, what you value about them and what would encourage you to use them more.
If you do not currently use any open space, we’d still like to hear from you. We’d like to know the reasons why you don’t visit and what may make you use them in the future.
The information gathered through the survey will help the Council to better understand how people use open spaces and assist in planning for their future protection. The information will be used to support the preparation of the Local Plan and also to inform investment decisions as part of an up-to-date strategy for public open spaces.
To tell us what you think on this subject, please follow this link to an online survey. This consultation runs until Friday, 11th October, 2019.
