In accordance with the provision at Part 3B, Paragraph 6 of the Council’s

Constitution the following public question was presented by Councillor Peter Ashton of Baildon Town Council:

 

Does the committee agree that the relevant Parish or Town Council should be consulted in advance of street name dedications in their area, in accordance with the spirit of Section 7 of the Charter between CBMDC and local councils, dated 2015?”

 

The Chair stated that there was a procedure in place which had been adopted by the Council for the naming of streets and that Councillor Peter Ashton would be emailed it by the relevant officer after the meeting in response to his question.
