(Speed Limit Order) (No. 14) Order 2023

Various Streets in the Shipley Constituency

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District has made the above Order on the 18January 2024 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce 20mph zones around a number of schools in Shipley parliamentary constituency (Bingley & Rural Ward) along the following lengths of road:-

 

i.              George Street       Whole length

ii.             Mary Street           Whole length

iii.            Minorca Mount      Whole length

iv.           Valley Heights       Whole length

 

The Order comes into force on the 4 March 2024. A copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or can be found below or obtained from Shadid Aziz, Engineer - Traffic & Road Safety South, Planning, Transportation & Highways by email shahid.aziz@bradford.gov.uk  Quoting reference number HS/TRSS/105704/SA. 

 

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made on 18 January 2024 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
