Consultation

Consultation on Public Spaces Protection Orders - dog control and dog fouling

Purpose of the consultation

Bradford Council is asking residents and local businesses for their views in a public consultation on the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) across Bradford.

The proposed PSPO, keeps the existing restrictions with small amendments and updates. The previous PSPO has been effective in helping the council achieve a reduction in dog fouling and dog control issues.

It expires in May 2024 and needs to be reviewed before it can be extended.

The consultation aims to gather information about which issues are of most concern to residents and businesses which will help with adding new conditions to the PSPO and the areas it covers.

Feedback from the consultation will be analysed and used to inform the decision about how to progress the PSPO and make sure it is fit for purpose for the years to come.
