CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

(Moving Traffic) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.10) Order 2023

North Street, Bow Street and Albert Street, Keighley

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 30 November 2023 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce the following:

      i.        ‘Mandatory Left Turn’ on the length of Albert Street, Keighley towards A629 North Street (eastbound).

     ii.        ‘Bus Gate’ on the length of Bow Street, Keighley from southern carriageway from its junction with North Street for a distance of 20 metres.

The Order comes into force on 4 December 2023 and a copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY and Keighley Town Hall or can be found below or obtained from Traffic Engineer, Andrew Solomon, Traffic & Highways (North) by telephone on 01274 435716 or by email andrew.solomon@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number THN/101986/NS/CON-1A.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made on 30 November 2023 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
