(Speed Limit Order) (No.8) Order 2022

 

104847 Oldfield Lane / Hob Cote Lane / Harehills Lane, Oakworth

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has made the above Order on the 13 July 2023 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce new 20 miles per hour, 30 miles per hour and 40 miles per hour Speed Limits on the following lengths of roads: -

 

i.              Oldfield Lane

ii.             Harehills Lane

iii.            Hob Cote Lane

 

The Order comes into force on the 17 July 2023. A copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY and Keighley Town Hall or can be found below or obtained from Traffic Engineer, Chris Hird, Traffic and Highway, Stockbridge Depot, Keighley by telephone on 01535 618172 or by email chris.hird@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number P/HS/THN/104847/CON-1B.

 

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made on 13 July 2023 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
