Purpose of the consultation

 

City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council

(Speed Limit Order) (No. 2) Order 2023

 

105349 Highfield Road, The Stray, All Alone Road, Doctor Hill, Northedge Meadow, Grady Close, Idle, Bradford

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 15 June 2023 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the general effect of which will be to introduce a 20 miles per hour Speed Limit on the following lengths of roads: -

 

  1. Highfield Road;
  2. The Stray;
  3. All Alone Road;
  4. Doctor Hill;
  5. Northedge Meadow; and
  6. Grady Close.

 

The Order comes into force on 19 June 2023 and a copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 or examined below or obtained from Senior Engineer, James Haigh, Traffic and Road Safety South, by telephone on 07816 355140 or by email james.haigh@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number HS/TRSS/105349/JH01.5.3.

 

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made 15th June 2023 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
