Purpose of the consultation

City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council

(Speed Limit Order) (No. 2) Order 2023

 

105349 Highfield Road, The Stray, All Alone Road, Doctor Hill, Northedge Meadow, Grady Close, Idle, Bradford

 

Notice is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce a 20 miles per hour Speed Limit on the following lengths of roads:

 

                   I.    Highfield Road;

                  II.    The Stray;

                III.    All Alone Road;

                IV.    Doctor Hill;

                 V.    Northedge Meadow; and

                VI.    Grady Close.

 

A copy of the draft Order together with a map showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or below or obtained from Senior Engineer, James Haigh, Traffic and Road Safety South, by telephone on 07816 355140 or by email james.haigh@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number HS/TRSS/105349/JH01.5.3.

 

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by email to legalobjections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on Friday 10 February 2023 quoting reference: CORP/PCD/AK/413065.
